After graduating in piano at the Conservatory of Salerno under the guidance of Franco Pinna and the High School of Sapri, I gained experience in the cities of Florence (choral conducting with Vittorio Sicuri, orchestral conducting with Bruno Rigacci, repertoire of opera from the 1900s with Giancarlo Montanaro), Pisa (operatic repertoire with Pieralba Soroga), Bologna (orchestral conducting with Corrado De Sessa at the Philharmonic Academy) and Milan (direction with Paolo Vaglieri).

From 1997 to 1999, I assisted Maestro Emanuela Di Pietro in the choir "Solisti Cantori", pianist for the New Philharmonic Orchestra of Cosenza under the guidance of Piero Bellugi and preparer of the children's choir of the Teatro Rendano of Cosenza.

From March 2000 to December 2004, I worked at the Teatro Comunale in Florence as assistant to Maestro José Luis Basso, with the Choir of Florence.
As a pianist and organist, I played at many concerts accompanying choirs in the Festivals of May, in the 57th Chigiana week in Siena, in the II Anima Mundi Festival in Pisa and in emblematic places such as the as the "Hall of 500" and the "Battistero" of Florence.

In February 2005, Maestro Tito Capobianco invited me to the Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires as a choir director.
I thus became the fourth Italian Maestro to hold this prestigious position following in the footsteps of Tullio Boni, Romano Gandolfi and Vittorio Sicuri.
I proved to be highly popular with audiences and critics, but the biggest success was preparing the choir, which is mainly an operatic choir, for the opening in the symphonic world.
I have preformed many concerts including Verdi's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana, Stravinsky's Wedding, Gloria by Poulenc, Puccini's Mass, Bruckner's Te Deum, Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Mahler's 2nd Symphony.
In the field of opera, the choir preformed in Honegger’s Jeanne d'Arc, in Saens’ Samson, in Boito's Mefistofele, in Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov and in Verdi's Sicilian Vespers.

We also participated in the historic production of Puccini’s Turandot, created in 2006 in Buenos Aires in front of 32000 people and in 2007 in Mexico City in front of 40000 people.
I directed the choir in Mahler's second on March 26, 2006, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the coup d’état in Argentina, as a reminder of the "Disappeared of Argentina" in the Colon Theatre.
Between 2007 and 2009, I was professor of opera repertoire at the Institute of Art at the Colon Theatre.

In September 2009, Maestros Gianni Tangucci and Cesare Mazzonis invited me to be choir director at the San Carlo Theatre in Naples.
I immediately forced the choir to expand their symphonic repertoire with particular attention to composers of the 1900s like Bernstein, Dallapiccola, Debussy, Orff, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff, Rota ; to the creation of world premieres by composers such as Giorgio Battistelli, Roberto De Simone and Luca Francesconi and to the flexibility of entering into new musical areas as was demonstrated by the experience with the multimedia artist Fabrizio Ferri in the production of "Anima" and from the meeting with the Inti Illiamani in the production of an event entitled "Tribute to Chile" in excavations of Pompeii.
Under the guidance of Maestro Riccardo Muti, Maurizio Benini and James Conlon, I was successful in the playing of the Stabat Mater and Rossini's Messe Solemnelle, in Requiem, Stabat Mater and Verdi's Te Deum.
In the field of opera, the choir has gained the great success of critics and the audience in Verdi'’s Masnadieri(DVD) and Vepres Siciliennes, of which the complete version was produced under the guidance of Maestro Gianluigi Gelmetti, Fliegende Hollander of Wagner, in Leoncavallo’'s Pagliacci with the magnificent direction of Daniele Finzi Pasca, Mascagni's Cavalleria rusticana and in Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess conducted by Wayne Marshall.
For the Theatre, I directed Bernstein's Chichester psalms,Dallapiccola's Canti di prigionia, Faure's Requiem, Liszt’s version of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Carmina Burana by Orff, Britten's Ceremony of carols, Puccini's Requiem, Taralli's Stabat mater, Ramirez’'s Misa Criolla,Guastavino’s Indianas, Bo Holten's Valsevaerk n.2, Rachmaninov's op. 15 and Panariello's Requiem.
I was part of the travel to Russian, Chile, to the Les Nuits de Fourviere festival in Lyon, to the 41 Hong Kong's Festival,at the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, the Roman Theatre in Pompeii and to the archaeological areas of San Leucio and Paestum.

He is invited by the Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile( agoust 2014) to prepare the chorus in the Opera Turandot by Puccini, gaining great acclaim from audiences and critics.

In July 2014 he wins the international public competition organized by the Grand Theatre of Bordeaux in France to fill the place of choirmaster. Prepare the chorus in the Operas Boheme by Puccini, Damnation de Faust by Berlioz, Tristan by Wagner,  Rossini's Semiramide,Bellini's Norma and Verdi's Don Carlo and Simone Boccanegra.

He worked in many countries such as Argentina, Canada, Chile, China, Egypt, France, Japan, Mexico, Oman, Russian, Spain, United States and Uruguay.

He was on the judge’s panel of many competitions including the "Caballè" in Zaragoza, the "Neue Stimmen" in Buenos Aires and the Chorus Competition at the Theatre Royal in Liège.
